The Can't Miss Event for 2012! 

AWDA’s 2011 Annual AWDA Business & Education Conference continued a growth trend that began several years ago.  With over 2,000 individual 1-on-1 meetings scheduled during two days, the conference represented the year’s single, most efficient venue for distributors and their suppliers to conduct business.  Combined with the scope and variety of companies represented at AAPEX, AWDA’s conference is the one Can’t Miss event of the year for traditional distribution.

2012 promises to deliver another record-setting event for the aftermarket’s warehouse distributor community.

In an effort to constantly improve conference value, AWDA has adjusted the scheduling process, reduced some registration fees and added options in the meeting selection process that will help ensure that the 1-on-1 meetings are better than ever for all participants.

AWDA’s one-on-one scheduling process begins in the February and March with a request that AWDA members commit to participate.  Additional scheduling steps follow in short order.  Conference registration materials are also sent in late spring.  Final schedules are distributed in early September, allowing all participants ample time to be fully prepared for productive meetings on October 28 and 29 in Las Vegas.

Other conference highlights include:

  •  AWDA’s high-level Executive Briefing which focuses on key trends and opportunities for the distribution sector.


  • Multiple networking opportunities including industry receptions, luncheons and other events.


  • AWDA’s Opening General Session brings members and guests up to date on their association and recognizes our industry’s stars.


  • Distributor education sessions during AAPEX will cover a variety of critical topics of specific interest to distributors and their suppliers.


  • AWDA’s Warehousing Essentials Pavilion on the AAPEX Show floor features solutions to your warehouse operations needs as well as a handy place to meet.


  • Everything the industry has to offer is on display at AAPEX: the Aftermarket’s Show.

Our goal for 2012 is to keep our momentum going, to build on the success of 2011 and generate even more excitement for the distribution sector’s premier networking event.
